CHAPTER I – THE STORM

The sounds of air-raid sirens blaring, firearms, and explosions started to sound off in the distance. In a two story house near the fighting, a young fox anthro, about 5 years old runs to his mother and looks at her, "mom? What's going on?" he asks her, his ears down, scared. The vixen looks at him and kneels in front of him and takes his shoulders in her hands. "There's no need to worry, everything's going to be ok."
